Bradley Hertz concentrates on litigation matters for the firm. He has handled dozens of high profile
litigation matters regarding initiatives, referenda, recalls, ballot access, election contests, campaign
finance and other matters.
Brad also handles administrative enforcement matters, representing elected officials and
political committees in Federal Election Commission, Fair Political Practices Commission and local
enforcement agency actions. In addition, he has drafted state and local initiatives, authored
several articles and appeared on television and radio discussing political and legal issues.
Brad previously served as a political consultant, an
aide to a United States Senator, a delegate to a national nominating convention and a Statewide
Communications Director for a Presidential campaign. Brad is a Past President of the California
Political Attorneys Association. Brad also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Chapman
University School of Law, teaching courses in Election Law and California Civil Procedure.
Brad received a B.A. from Brown University (1985) and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (1988), where he served on the Tax Lawyer Law Review.
